Choose the matching family
The original guide grouped AD-H265 recorders, SuperLive Plus, Shield CMS/NVMS, iVMS320 and older AHD/FHD/SHD DVRs. Confirm the recorder and software family before following a tutorial.
Watch, then verify
Compare the demonstrated menu with the device in front of you. Record the existing settings before changing them and test the intended function afterward. A tutorial for one firmware version may use different menu names.
